I think the Status category is really nice, but I lack the ability to have projects in Findings that haven’t really started and thus aren’t Ongoing yet. The status could be called Ideas, Future, Planned or something similar.

That’s an interesting idea. I may add this in the future… In the meantime, the ‘Deferred’ status is probably the closest to what you have in mind. Maybe I should just rename that one to ‘Future’…
